The valakas' necklace gives the frintezza's necklace passive without mdef. No patk/matk etc.

It would help if Ncsoft would just re-introduce the content they removed that existed in the OG lineage 2 "classic" era... Maybe make it so going perma red actually has some down sides etc.. Right now unless you have several +79 perma reds and no life it's impossible to get a room. A new player has no real option after cruma 3 because cruma 2 is packed too.

I have a ryzen 5 3600 system with 32 gb of ram with the game on a NVME SSD and a 100/50 megabyte/s up/down connection. I could litterly drive to the data center hosting the servers and I would disconnect with as few as one game client running. My tracerts and pings were flawless under 50ms and no other game ever had a connection issue. I had the issue on various i5/i7 systems and even on a q6600 system. The disconnects are what drove me to completely quit the game a few years ago. Attempting to level would result in me deleveling due to disconnect deaths. My ryzen and i7 systems barely noticed lineage 2 running and it was the only thing I was running outside of the minimum stuff for windows. I recently moved out of Texas to a new location in the USA and got the urge to see how the game is doing. I got a disconnected fairly quickly with just two clients up. I couldn't even keep three up for longer than 30 minutes. So I just gave up again.

Yes per cast BSPS is 3.72x the cost of SS. I don't have a high level wizard on classic but I do see plenty of similarly geared mages hitting for at least 3x the damage per cast that I do per swing. So damage per adena is roughly the same in the end. With one properly geared wizard you can kill at a much faster rate than my melee party does AND your wizard doesn't have to move unless you're soloing a large room which I've seen quite a bit and my group can't do. Meanwhile my tank alone uses a bit over 103k shots a day. My DPS uses at least 400k shots a day to kill at a slower rate than your wizard.. Really there's a reason why solo wizards with a few supports are taking over rooms everywhere... It'd be interesting to hear your perspective though as I said I don't have a high level wizard on classic. Limiting via IP would require too much work for them and be ineffective. It would also cause a lot of issues as whole cities can appear under the same IP from the game's perspective because of technologies ISps use such as NAT. It's not a good idea.

The last major "content" update damned near made me quit the game and you want more?

Where are you leveling? I'm in a low 80s area and raw adena is covering the costs of my DPS using shots (no buffers/healers using shots). Granted I'm not going to be able to buy any gear upgrades but at least my shots are self sustaining...

Wow 10 per pc is more than I would do. Personally I would go back to a limit of 5 per PC. Lines up nicely with the nclauncher's 5 account memory. A limit of 3 clients per PC is probably too strict.

Last I saw the majority of NcSoft's income is coming in from their mobile games. The PC game income is a tiny fraction in comparison. That's probably why classic got the mobile like UI change and they continue to push monetization. To their credit NcWest has gotten some changes in that help a bit. If you're serious about giving the game a try then the starter packs are well worth the minor investment in NcCoins. Just consider the NcCoin purchase as a buy in for the game.

Because you haven't cleaned your machine in ages? Fan(s) broke? Restricted airflow in and around the machine? Unusually high ambient temperatures? My small form factor business machines don't even run that hot. hell I can run furmark and prime95 at the same time and not reach that temp range.

To the above person blowing $100 on a chance to get one decent item is totally fair and within the realm of the classic experience. Of course this repeats every other month so you end up paying more a year for 1 account than I did for 3 accounts during the real classic era. To keep VIP 10 you have to pay more per month than I paid for my 5 account subscriptions during real classic. All for what? A neutered experience that pretends to be classic (with GoD based gameplay/stats) while having almost none of the classic content. Basically your only real chance to get anywhere outside of the p2w casino is to AFK box at least one full party 24/7 so you can build up enough funds to cover B grade costs. With a proper composition a 9 man team can farm pretty well without shots. Having said that you're going to need quite a lot of luck. Bots have infested every decent leveling area up to the 80s. Making this situation worse is the lack of decent leveling areas in general. There's a LOT of the map not being used at all because of gameplay design choices. If you don't bot then there are level ranges where you have maybe two choices of leveling areas. It's pretty terrible. Crafting is almost non-existent due to "game balance" changes. The low level marketplace is non existent below C grade. The best bang for the buck right now is B grade and I consider that the "low level marketplace" now. Highly Over Enchanted C weapons can be cheaper in the long run due to using 1 shot instead of B grade's 2 shots. Alas they (OE C-grade) do come with hefty price tags. "end game" doesn't get any better as most high level places hit so hard that even the whales struggle to level there. It's sad how vacant some areas are.. nothing like classic at all.

Removing autohunting would do nothing as those are bots in ROA and other areas. You would just screw over the few legit players left in this game.... Autohunt is nowhere near as effective as a bot. You can autohunt until level 80 assuming you don't get harassed in ways that wouldn't effect a bot.

Ouch Australia means most game servers are geographically far from you so you're at the mercy of the few backbone connections that exit Australia. Also your government filters the internet which adds some problems for connections. In contrast I live a bit south of the data center here in Texas and I haven't had a D/C in a while. Not since the servers had some issues a while back. You can try to tracert to find the hop where things are going south. Depending on what hop is flaking on you there might be a possibility for you to avoid it.

Probably not considering it's not the server. How far are you watching the packets?

So much end game content? LoL like the one castle we have? The few higher level RBs that are killed within minutes of spawning? The leveling areas that require you to be in full OEed S grade? Right now the only end game content is botting or autohunting for 164 or so hours a week in areas you're over leveled for... Funny I have over a hundred thousand or so curse bones that just won't sell for 50a each...

Well then kill the not super high xp mobs and get decent xp along with adena.. Problem solved. Joe Exotic is an abusive POS that deserved to go out of business. So don't expect any sympathy comparing yourself to him. The other two posts covered the possible causes for no adena drops.

It's not even fixed as doing the quest as a melee is an exercise in futility and frustration. Basically have to stand in one spot and pray you get a swing off before the near instant casting elf does. Doesn't help that the bot is somehow able to target mobs before they even appear in the game client.

I dunno maybe they are worried the bots will move somewhere else as a result... They seem scared to ban the bots in ROA for some reason. A mass ban of the ROA bots would be an opportunity to stop the mass botting at lower levels. When you mass ban the bots the botter is going to need to make replacements and that WILL take time and effort on their part. Depending on how automated of a system they have it'll require a whole LOT of effort on the email side of things. Ban em all and wait for a massive number of registrations to a specific IP or email provider and go from there. They don't have to completely stop the botter so much as make it irritatingly difficult to maintain the large number of bots. Losing all those accounts means a lot of gear lost too. That would solve the ROA problem better than reducing the quest number as even 15 can be a half hour or hour long fight to achieve. When you're a melee trying to get a kill in a sea of bots who can target and start casting before the mob even appears while using shots and karmian armor. ban the bots and the replacements won't have the good cast speed armor and c grade weapons..

Prices of useful items have ALWAYS been going up as every MMORPG has some form of inflation built in. Staff of evil spirits and ghoul staffs have gone up noticeable in price too. I've noticed a large uptick in the number of mages autohunting/botting in the 7x level range. Even seeing a bit more in the low 80s. If you watch class ranking it's clear more people are leveling up mages lately. So more demand with no uptick in supply = higher prices. Which sucks because mage weapons have historically been higher prices than others. Not a surprise when you have multiple DPS classes AND all the healers needing the same weapon... New players don't care about cloths or A grade items because they are too busy quitting when they run into a wall of bots in ROA...

Then you have your answer. Don't kill them anymore and that'll get NcWest's attention. You know since you claim it's not worth it anyway....
