Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 4 a.m. PT / 6 a.m. CT / 7 a.m. ET / 12 p.m. UTC +1 and will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours. 

The following changes will be made to the game during this maintenance: 

  • Lara’s Eventful Day Off Event will start for 2 weeks!
  • The Ancient Kingdom Cloak Promotion will end next week!
    • Cloak Enchant Rate increase will end next week.
  • The Halloween Party Pack will be removed from the L2 Store.
    • Halloween Pack related items will be removed.
  • The Red Libra event will end!
    • All event related items will be removed.
  • The Hero’s Tome Events will end.
    • All event related items will be removed.
  • The Night Market Promotion Dimensional Merchant exchange will be removed.
    • All promotion related items will be removed.
  • New Player packages will be removed from the L2 Store.
  • The Hero’s Tome Pack will be removed from the L2 Store.
  • The Store Update Extravaganza promotion will end.
  • Fixed an issue where characters were unable to change race.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the client to crash.

Our new admin- and GM team apparently does not really know the game, so an explantation is needed. I'll jump in:

- PK SYSTEM bug
While the new update spent much effort on making PKing harder, it does not work. Simple reason: Since update you can use UNLIMITED PK scrolls (buyable cheapy cheapy in clanshop). Before update, you could use only one (1).
So basically PKing is free now apart from a tiny (even for poor ppl its tiny) adena amount.

- CURSED SWORD bug & exploit.
Since update you can enter time zones with Cursed Swords. Certain players (the big well known exploiter himself mostly, on Naia) abuse this bug for a perfidious tactic:
Not simply to kill ppl in time zones, cos they would get ported out after new (good!) 10 min timer. BUT to just put players in the cage (skill from cursed weaps). After 2 min when the cage-prison expires, players get ported to next safe-zone.
And, ta-da!, next safe zone is the entry area of new time zones.
Result: You stand afk in time zone, minutes counting down, you do not hit even 1 mob. If you used passes, bye bye NC Coins.
Its an evil tactic and on Naia it gets heavily abused by one player. You might wanna fix this frustrating bug. You might wanna look into the exploiter on Naia who sends all of his enemies or other ppl he dont like (prolly cos they do not pay him for RMT adena) to time-waste-zone.

what part of all to fix? timeds always curseds enter ...or u mean the teleportation scroll while have cursed to dethrone ?hm...

Or port ppl from cursed-cage OUT of time zones as it was before update, and not to entry-room where time is ticking down.

Cursed Sword issue -

There new answer is to avoid this issue do not leave your toon afk.  It can be prevented if you are by your pc Macros are not to be used for botting.

Senior GM issued that retort so problem solved dont afk xp anymore............ Since these people have never played the game they do not understand how impossible that statement actually is.

Here is something you do not realize a lot of players only came back to game when you could legally afk macro; I stopped level at 100 because they grind of being at the PC to go past that was too much people who were "xping" during this dark time was the people who used 3rd party programs and the game was dying very quickly.

Lets go back to that since you guys are do so wonderfully with everything else too.....

nc sft well that you could make improvements in the shop of the clan because it has item serves no purpose in the game. useless, and doombringed class improvements because tyrr titan has twice as much p attack that class of tyrr dom, plus enuma skill of the kamael class subthetituir it by a skill passive increase damage attack, so it does not look equal to the ink tyrr with each of the class with its originality. doing enuma serilgual skill ligh force upava until lvl 3 increased the atack. already in kamael it would increase the damage.

I would like to congratulate the wonderful gm team, which took care to solve all the stability problems of the servers, and bugs, and for the wonderful lara event, which brings an extra lag.
I am convinced that in a short time they will solve the problem with the new PK system, with a little luck it will be ready by Easter, we have to be patient - only 3 weeks have passed.
