3 client limit per machine not needed?

If memory serves, the 3 client limit was implemented for Live servers during a period of time where NCWest was trying to troubleshoot the severe lag issues that plaguing the servers. The change did not "fix" the issue and this was later resolved. Is there a reason why this client limit is still in effect? Can we remove the 3 client limitation?

while free window can be only one,

imagine now NC makes black coupons and that folks who were reporting about tens of thousands free daily boxes opened from the previous event (The Greater rune stone in the 19th Anniversary boxes is a joke, right? - Page 2 - General Live Discussion - Forums (lineage2.com)) are logging their hundreds of freeloader accounts simultaneously to grab that runestones and to stay in game, creating further lags, trying to sell not-longer-needed items (just like exalted SA which has eventually become free), playing their 2-3 toons at once in the dailies, pretending to be different afk guys, stealing someone elses spot in dethrone, shout in-game something bad about the company (scaring away new ppl from the game, by making negative image or by questioning "time/money investments")

people like that user1234 and other described above are one of the main reasons we are getting lags, having literally 0 new population (only returning players are joining) and even more boxes in the dailies

if me and some other people are not satisfied with the mailbox opening in 20 seconds, and are not satisfied with the lag spikes caused by freeloaders, then, by opting not to close the floodgates, we are being implied that we should leave?

see, you are making this generous offer to all the folks palying allowing them to log unlimited amount of boxes, and still they are not satisfied, criticizing the company, asking for free dragon weapons/runestones/monthly entitlement boosts codes, while people that bring in the money suffer from lag spikes, dozens of suspicious people around the event npcs blocking the sight (wearing exalted), freeloaders spaming the chat with how much do they love the game, while logging even more boxes inside and opening free boxes/claiming attendance rewards, etc, generating only co2 wastes and lags, wasting our time

new guys happen to come, asking how is the game, immidiately getting answer from some "rand0m1" that the game is bad, playing gms are corrupt etc, and the newcomer leaves, while newbie towns (gludio) and locations (BS) are full of (suspiciously gathered in a pty of the same clan) mentees spammed anew 24/7 to oversaturate markets with pantheon passes and generate even more lags without paying prestige even for one main box

so we have more active people and not boxes flooding the free events

L2 for the better part of 15 years didn't have limits. Its part of the fun of the game. With the advent of pay to win, ZERO effort put into balance, or ensuring that skills work/land, there isn't any point to limit clients. Limiting clients wont make people group up, because support doesn't exist at a level to support the server. Why? Because you cant farm adena on a support, and DD's aren't going to half the adena they make for support... its L2, the model forces people to be greedy as everything costs REAL money.   

If the model stays the same, remove the box limit. 

If NC Soft wants to make the game how it was 10 years ago (where we can farm in game, skills land, classes have balance, there are quests, we can craft anything because all the mats are in game) then yeah.. I would FULLY support a client limit of 1.  But we all know that will NEVER happen... so just remove the limit.

 @Hermes you may remember implementing the Lineage 2 Live - 3 Client Limit back in August 15, 2019 in order to combat the latency issues with the server. This was meant to be a temporary solution to be opened back up past three clients with server stability improvements. Those improvements have been made and a three client limit is no longer required and quite honestly had little to no affect on the latency issues of the server. @Juji was actively engaged and following up on this issue weeks/months until he chose to move onto bigger and better things. The server does not need the three client limit restriction anymore and it should be removed. Please reference pass forum posts and reconsider the three client limit restriction.

Not sure about Chronos, but Naia is not in a good state, would be nice to get this restriction lifted so I can put up a shop or fish while hunting with the main set. Launching a 2nd PC just to setup a shop (where there is not much trade going on on a dead server) or fishing seems like a waste of resources.

and if you want more than one pay a monthly fee of 50 euros per account

This is how more active players enter and fewer multi-account players ... because I don't want to see saturated servers in free events and with a waiting list to enter as a pass in the past
