Live Server Maintenance: Wednesday, June 23, 2021

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 4 a.m. PDT /  6 a.m. CDT / 7 a.m. EDT / 1 p.m. GMT+2 and will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

With this maintenance:

  • Routine server updates and modifications.
  • The Party Play event will continue for 2 weeks.
  • The Suspicious Safe in the L2 Store will continue for 3 weeks.
  • The rollback compensation bundle will no longer be available on the L2 Store.
  • Fixed an issue that caused servers to crash last week.

I do not agree with the compensations, but they gave a compensation which the users could not take full advantage of due to the problems that occurred in the update. I think that they should respect more the time and also the money of the users, since all of us who have prestige are also being affected, since we are paying for a service that they have not provided in the last weeks at 100%. Keep in mind that most of us work, and the little time that we put into the game cannot be wasted in this way. Greetings!

The point is to cheat the players!
The update should always be completed, then the player is 100% sure that he will receive the prize!

1 whole month the pay event. Means it must be garbage and people are not falling for it. Rarely we have a pay event so long.

Server outage + random freezes. No it is not my ISP since multiple people have been reporting same issues in the same interval. Not a coincidence when someone lives next to the server and has same issues.

About the compensation it is appreciated. Thumbs up.

1 whole month of an incredibly crappy pay event after we just had a very nice pay event.

 

edit: some dude on discord opened 4k event gambles boxes (not gold bar ones). they barely got 600b back for 4k chests, and got 1 dragon shirt aug stone. just lol ncsoft...

laugh all ya want but without people like that, where would all the crap we need come from?  purple pots for example.  If NC moved the decimal point, we would all but 4k boxes and flood the server, waled would buy 40k boxes and get more (augment stones) on server.

Yea thats right. if the promos would cost less, more players would buy them and would be unhappy too
FOr NC it works fine. there problem over the  last 17 years was the 3rd marked / rmt
Now Adena sellers buy ncoins ( ingame whales ), the Real mony Whales buy Ncoins,  the casual players buy Ncoins.
To change this with "eisenhands store" or whatever it is called would just lower the income of NC so better dont belive in it showing up ( or lets say it would suprise me).

I am fine with all Ncoin buyers ( from time to time i do it too Max 200E per year)
But if you go to the casino better aint think you win becouse the casino allways wins
and if you lost everything aint be mad about NC be mad about yourself

Yes the compensation was good, ty for that!

But i do agree that  time is the most important resource we have, if you enchant  somthing and fail you can not give time back, but they just rollback, give every player a ticket  that allows them to rollback  back 1 item at their choosing, that will be fair.

If people stopped buying, it would force NCSoft to figure out a different sales model. Maybe better, but maybe worse.

They should remove token restoration in general, but improve the enchant odds of success. That's the fix.

ncsoft always does this.  instead of allowing everyone to get the same gear/service, they cut it off after its abused by a few without ever letting the rest of the people catch up fairly.

 

i slowly, day after day, start to think ncsoft is somehow connected with the rmt scene

A restoration sistem is good, I tried to use it but the item was not eligible, but somthing is better  then nothing, I do believe all items should  be eligible at least  1 time, I know anyone  is entitled to 1 mistake.

all items should be restorable once every 3 months imo.  all items.  and an item should be restorable more than once, after the set period of time.

 

if they made the policy this way, there would be 0 complaints.  straight forward and fair for all.
