For what i saw in the skills description on each grade homunkulus general gives you +1 to  men, con, luc, cha. Water gives you +2 and luminus gives you +3. The grades affect the stats each homunkulus skills gives to (i think 3%, 5% and 10% in max lvl for each skill, do not remember now that)

I got all general in the toon that is my main char (wynn/tyr dread, yea i know i should just deleted the char), one water for yul and one general for tank in my feoh toon (the one i need to use to do stuff because my main cant kill anything alone...) and a luminus for feoh in my yul toon that i lvl only because i like the name. 

Sadly i do not have any more SP to test and fishing box do no give vita pots anymore to test

On my main toon i have always bad luck in all events, so idk if the rate i get on that will be close to the rate, but on that one there are already 4 general,and the numbers using all the toons i have created homunkulus go as:

7 generals, 1 water, 1 luminus

A clanie got 3 waters almost in a row...

Proc: 3% p/m skill power for 15s

1. con/men/luc/cha +3

2. Hp/mp +5%

3. +50 attribute

4. P/m skill power 5%

5. Skill cd 5%

 

Dunno if the proc ability changes with lvls.

Tray to understand how much vit, pover fish and - most important TIME - this system will use... Now you must check game and colekt points 16h per day. Its mine reason who many people stop play many games (like farm or etc) - you must to check game 24h.

Spending powerful fish is optional and frankly I don't see the point, but some people will want to develop it faster, so the option is there.

The SP is easy to get, I'm able to get enough SP every 24hrs so far, but my luck is rather strange, got 2nd luminous pallo today on my mage.... will post a screenshot later.

The only annoying thing might be the dev points collection, but if you do storm isle or primeval isle, you get all 5 in under an hour.

I'm not saying that this thing is perfect though, far from it, but it's free for once and the homus look sweet

Why do you HAVE TO get max enchant points per day?  Seems like that is a choice you are making.  Why not get just get 5 a day with very little effort and on days when you have free time shoot for 15 (pretty easy).  The Homunculus is nice but it's not game changing.  Seems like a long term project to slowly make your char better IMO.

L2 - old game, one of most expensive game, here gamers mostly 30-55y old. So its mean - most have job, most have family. But from nostalgia also like to play L2...

This people ready to pay for game, and pay.

But updates coming - for no lifers. Who play - for free. Have time to play 16h per day.

Note that this might be different on NCWest, but just for you guys to have an idea, leveling up an homunculus from Level 1 to Level 5 (0%, didn't made it 100% on level 5) I consumed the following Enchant Points:

Level 1 to Level 2: ~50 Enchant Points

Level 2 to Level 3: ~80 Enchant Points

Level 3 to Level 4: ~160 Enchant Points

Level 4 to Level 5: ~240 Enchant Points

So you need at least ~530 Enchant Points to unlock all the Commune Skills for "gamble enchant"

This is the maximum stats it can get for a level 5 homunculus as well.

Regarding the skill of the Top-Grade Luminous  Ayri (increases P./M. Skill Power by 3% during 15 seconds), seems to be activating once every 2 minutes (while attacking mobs with in game macro).

What? What do you mean with "updates coming for no lifers"? This is an ultra pay to win game, almost every event involves real money, gamble, and zero ZERO time investment. This is the first event in ages in wich everyone can get the top reward just by farming.

Donors are very important since they (us... sometimes) keep the server going, but your lecture of the situation seems fairly away from the reality.

About powerful fish, i just log 3 acc, dd, iss, and a fishing mentee, and i get enough powerful fish to reset 3 times the quest, sell the remaining fish and get full stock of baits and shots for the next run.

It depends on your patience  the difference in the commune skills from  a mid-grade Advanced Water to top-grade Luminous is +1% or +10 in the stats. So a stage 2 skill of a mid-grade homunculus is the same as the stage 1 skill of a top-grade one. A stage 3 of the mid-grade is the same stats as a stage 2 of the top-grade. If you don't wanna spend any more vitality and SP, a mid-grade is good enough. If you wanna continue to try your luck, top-grade is always best

I didn't say that you are forced to use more than 1 pc, I said that I use just 1 pc: my main DD, an ISS, and a mentee (who is fishing)

There are several ways to get the 15 points per day fast: primeval isle, storm isle, refinery, you can even reset your dual and go to coal mines (if you are so desperate or have a 105 dual already, and with your set i guarantee that you will do all the 15 in less than an hour)

Let's say that you are so anxious that you want the top grade max lvl homunculus asap, with those 15 point per day and using what Nymphadorea said, youll need 530 point aprox, thats 35 days of farming, a little bit more than the old "Exploring the dimension - 30 day" quest, Don't you want to use the power fish, will you farm just 5 item per day? ok, youll need 105 days instead, a little bit more than the old "100-day subjugation operation" quest.

This is not only a pay to win game, this is also a farming game, you will ride the Lexus but it will take you a little bit more than the 10 minutes that usually takes someone to use the credit card.

After 14 days statistic on tank/tyrr:

8x churing (1x luminius, 2x water, 5x general)!!!

2x palo (general)

1x tanga (general)

2x ari (2x water)

Will be looooong way.

@Ambicija I just used this info, that matches roughly with yours, using your info it's 54 points at lvl 1, 90 points at lvl 2, 179 points at lvl 3, idk, lets say... 268 points? at lvl 4.

Thats 591 points more or less, closer to 530 than to 53000 

I don't know about Ncwest math, but in classical math get the lvl 2 communing ability has a 28% chance, the lvl 3 has a 3% chance and the lvl 1 has a 69% chance, thats 165 points to get all the 5 abilities into lvl 3

Total: about 756 points -> 50 days of hard work

Business opportunity: start to buy-sell party 15 points in 1h.

Took me about 100 points just to get 2 communing abilities to stage 3  (not on NCWest). Although it's not impossible to get it for less. Just... luck

Excuse me?  I have a level 4 top grade and I work 60 hours a week, NOT from home.  If it takes you all day to get your points, you are hunting in the wrong place, 10 mins per point, maybe 15.  This is a cool addition imo and it's as free as you want it to be.  Don't level 1 if it's not for you.  Honestly, it's about the only thng left to do in game.

That's actually twice as good as I thought it would be, can't wait.  It's not supposed to be easy.
