Greedy Chests etc.

Why were the greedy chests removed? I thought they were gonna be short term disabled not permanently. Any chance you could bring them back? It was a cool way to get some stuff like jewels lvl5. 

 

I also noticed that there are plenty of events(free and gambling) on Aden servers but Live servers get nothing. Maybe get some stuff going on live too?

 

Lastsly, both Naia and Chronos are less than half dead(activity wise). Any chance of merging them so we might get some action?

Why You want those back?? 99% of Greedy boxes were farmed by RMTs u have alot of proof in Youtube showing how ppl auto-restart on Box spots.. then when box appear , 1 endgame player "normally the same1" instateleport-1 shot box - pick drops. 24/7 the whole year. SO why u want those back (? Just i'm curious.

Not sure what server you play but Chronos is far from dead lol.  Only reason Naia is suffering because they allowed server transfers again and all the big dogs came to chronos.

They will kill the game if they ever merge servers so no that won't happen.

Heya. Mainly cause the prices of jewels were much lower. Just an example, an obsidian lvl5 was 5b and now its close to 20b.

So people are starting to reveal themselves against this inflation and selling expensive too , for example  Ncoins 15-20 million per one. 

Prices will go down if people stop buying for a while .. what happens in a hypermarket when people don't buy? Offers, discounts, and then they sell again, it's that simple, don't you think?

The game provides no ways to generate items. You must generate these from events. Events have been terrible for items except during the dragon slayer enchant event. 

1ncoin = 9kk atm

The 1 spot maximum ios 2 gives is ~850kk/hour, a pass is 70 ncoin. This means once ncoin = 12.14kk/coin, there is no reason to buy them anymore. We are getting dangerously close to this implosion which will kill this game.

 

We desperately need the coin store to help inject items into the economy. Even greedy chests, if properly implemented, helped counter inflation.

 

Half the items you need at the moment for a top toon cost well over 999b. It's like Ncsoft is intentionally trying to promote rmt, bc there is no safe way to buy items of this value in game anymore.

 

If things don't change, the economy will basically collapse in game. It's already almost there, naia it is there.

And other thing ,yes seems no viable 4 u go & farm 850kk per 1/hour. Top Yul can farm 10-50b per 1/hour. So yeah Nice lógic if I farm 100kk on ios need to Buy pass for 40kk... 

Also the Game provides u can't do nothing a higher lvl.. can't pvp kill nothing.. show 1 vídeo on CHRONOS not same guys killing next fafu , valakas , anthy 24/7 the whole year. Farming akamanas ect ect..

It's hard to understand you, but what he said was farm 850kk in IoS per spot, you can not farm 10-50b an hr there.   And why improve your toon?  Set a goal, try to achieve it, xp next harder spot, do harder dailies for better xp, why am I explaining this?

True mb I meant by day, what some top players farm.   

Ok and now so why do the prices of things that are 100% dropable and can be farmed every day go up? If someone have good  answers I Will gift 1 shilien 10.

I am not a top player but I can farm 10 - 25 billion a week (depending on drops/activity) as a 112 archer i got good gear but not tippy top.  I am stuck with not being to upgrade my brooch, seed talisman, brooch jewels, and bloody my armor fully (forget limited lol).  So I wind up stockpiling billions of adena on multiple accounts now.  I cannot even upgrade my alt weapons to r110 bloody  at the moment either so they are kind of hung up at 110 even though they have enchanted armor and enchanted weapons need bloody.

That is my big question:  Why don't these event chests include those things we do need?  Bloody/Dark Stones, Giants Energy, Rgems (in mass quantities), dawn crystals, splendor fragments, jewels for grinding to upgrade a brooch, augment stones for dragon shirts and circlets, and ecylum.  With the exception of ecylum none of them can be farmed.

ncoin value is dictated by the afk buy shop prices.  Just because you find an idiot who will over pay for something, doesnt mean that is the market value of something.

i am a single target class and farm 52b in toi.  aoe isnt the only class who can farm.

a yul will not farm 10-50b an hour in ios2.

im not exactly following you.  the 10b/hour adena is only made by stage 2/3 toons on toi 3, and only a handful of them at that.

Here you wrong. 

Nc.coin price  dictated just adena farm. Now all 114+lvl can farm in IOS 600-800KK minimum, many can farm 1-2kkk in 1H.  114+ in server about ~300 people. To burn adena (suol ore, teleport and etc) need just 50-100kk per day. If admins soon not will make adena nerf for top zones - we pay not 2-3x price for items (compare what was 3-6 mon ago), but 10-20x prices - compare with now.

inflation is why prices have gone up.  no new items causes their value to rise, more adena in circulation causes its value to drop.

Greedy chests should never come back, they should add lvl4 boxes on Aden boxes that will be available to all that xp.  And rare lvl 5 jewels on same boxes.  

Adding greedy chests just gives farmers and top players a way to contol the game even more.

 Waste time posting this no sense... the mentality of these "top" people is that if the game does not give me things, we are going to raise the price of everything ... that's how they handle it, nobody can put the price on anything because there is nothing official .. The only thing these people are guided by is for the "Heroes" prices spam.

Sometimes you see them spamming like for example enchant circlets, buying for 40kk each spam..And when you click to see ,they already have 50k or more ... It makes no sense what I want to explain  would not understand ... So I think there are items, but only the "top" players that farm everything has (it should not be difficult to deduce) And it's a way to win as rmt ...So continue with your way of playing that.

little by little no one is going to buy anything from you ... and for my part the holidays are approaching , My goal Will be  to sell Ncoins 40kk each. SO GL ALL.

Thats difference btw Korean SV & this for one side they plenty fight vs rmt fully banned them , here no 1 move a finger..  That is what I see my opinión.

I farmed the greedy chests, i didn't RMT. Thanks to them i got my set of greater jewels. I know a few others like me in Naia that did the same.

Economy wise, it won't change anything. @Hyperliteexplained very well how things work, but in this case the greedy chest would only work to solve the rising price of Lv. 5 Jewels. And the economy is not on verge of collapsing, it already did. (When you get to the point that mid range items are not available to buy with adena anymore you know the economy collapsed)

Uzume is also right, the collapsed economy is working as intended. US servers have a very specific "money grabbing" orientation. Everything is a valid way to grab your money. In this case they didn't correct it because it forces you to buy NCoins as an alternate currency.

If the anti-bot system is working as intended, the greedy boxes would be an awesome addition but, because they do affect their policy (grabbing your money), it's unlikely you will see them again.

 

PS: The inflation issue can be fixed by introducing some adena sinks into the game. I already suggested some ways to implement them to juji, as far as i know they were ignored.

The greedy chest was a perfect way to gear people with decent items.

Since top 5 of the Naia servers are RMTers, we all knew how this would end.

In a perfect distribution, every player could have done Greater & Top Jewels, but due to greedyness of some who boycotted the chests, it got exploited so that new players are starving now to make those.

I am sorry, but a Yul 114+ makes approximately in 1 month the income of 1 Ruby/Red Cat 5.

So the selection has been made for specific type of people. Rich or farmers.

The only thing i know for sure it is that during the greedy rmt chest presence i could buy low-grade greaters (like aquamarine) for 10b (naia), while now, after removal, they are 60b+. I'd rather have an rmt back tbh...

its not because of greedy chests but because of excess adena on servers by adding many ways to farm adena pretty fast.

I disagree it is supply and demand. As supply went up the cost was driven down, prior to chests prices were expensive. Another great example is boss jewelry like valakas. The supply in the server has significantly dropped so prices are now soaring. In the past when supply was high jewelry was only 30b, now with god jewelry and the crystalyzing the jewelry to make god jewelry and the supply diminish with dragon jewelry or angel jewelry there counts are dropping so supply is diminishing and prices soaring. Been a while since I looked but people selling now over 200 b.

The same phenomena occurred with the chests. Supply went up and prices dropped due to competitive shopping. When the supply significantly decreased the prices are high again.

 

This has always occurred in the game.

 

Those who disagree could be top players with money coming out of their ears because they are the top players. I am only mid to low player.  This has been what I have seen. 
 

if events dropped good rates all prices would drop a little, and the greedy ones would have to drop their prices to be competitive.  
 

you will see another example with this on the next update. Drops of dark weapons enchant stone are going for 7 b, but after… depending on the rates of the drops in you. If good supply will increase and prices will drop.

 

Lower and new players struggle with adena, it has always been the case. You see them posting all the time. Me I am doing well off for the time I can afford to play.  
 

High prices are due to supply being low.
